TTB Establishes Snipes Mtn. AVA and Expands Paso Robles
The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has established the Snipes Mountain AVA in Washington State and expanded the Paso Robles AVA on California’s central coast. Both are effective Feb. 20.
SNIPES MOUNTAIN
The 4,145-acre Snipes Mountain viticultural area in Yakima County, Washington will be entirely within the existing Yakima Valley and Columbia Valley viticultural areas.

the existing Paso Robles viticultural area has been expanded by 2,635 acres in San Luis Obispo County, California. The expanded area continues to lie entirely within San Luis Obispo County and the multicounty Central Coast viticultural area
