Beverage competition heats up as America’s biggest wine consumers drink more beer & spirits

81% of the total wine consumed in the U.S. is  drunk by high-frequency wine drinkers — 33% of the market — according to the Wine Market Council. Those vital consumers are now drinking more beer and spirits.
