Arlie Jean Phillips — who founded über-cult winery Screaming Eagle in 1986 — has purchased the 114-acre Pillar Rock Vineyard. The Stags Leap Appellation property includes an estate home, 22 acres of prize-winning vineyards, a vested winery permit and approval for caves.
