One of Australia’s best-known wine brands celebrates its 160th anniversary and marks the start of celebrations, including a number of special launches to commemorate this auspicious landmark.
McLaren Vale, May 14, 2013 – Hardys, one of the world’s most recognized wine brands, marks 160 years since its founding in 1853 by pioneering winemaker Thomas Hardy, one of the country’s very first quality winemakers and exporters, this month.
This 160th anniversary will see new launches and developments for the Hardy portfolio, with special commemorative packaging planned.
In addition, exciting new initiatives are in store for the Hardys product line that will be announced later in the year as part of the brand’s strategic plans to help reinforce Hardys’ position as a leading global brand.
160 years after its inception in South Australia, Hardys is a major player in the world of wine. The Hardys label can be found in more than 80 countries around the globe, and it is the biggest-selling wine brand in the United Kingdom.
