After reading our Wine of the Day post on spoiled wine -- A heat-damaged Safeway trifecta -- Michael David Winery stepped up to the plate and replaced the wine we had bought.
 
They did not need to do this, but they clearly cared about the diminished quality of their wine at the hands of either the shipper or Sonoma Safeway.
 
The other two wineries clearly didn't. We had paid $$26.98 per bottle for two bottles. -- LP
