TODAY'S FEATURED WINE
I bought all three of these because I had tried them before and enjoyed them. All of these were heat damaged. -LP
- The 22 Pirates cork crumbled like Styrofoam, showed wine forced up the cork by heat. Wine had a faint dank nose, muddy bland soupy consistency without fruit.
- Pessimist cork showed wine forced up the cork by heat. Smelled of prunes and tasted like stale dates. No acid balance
- PetitePetit was almost drinkable, but totally lacking in its usual balanced but prominent fruit. Have not opened the second bottle yet. Fear.
