TODAY'S FEATURED WINE

Another lost bottle from my cellar, that should have remained in a dark corner forever.

The cork crumbled into three pieces. The bottom piece was covered with a brown/gray slime redolent of organic chemistry lab: something like vinegar mixed with DMSO.

The wine was not cloudy, still had decent color and no odor.
In a fit of bad judgment I sipped a drop or two. It was indescribably horrendous.

If I find another bottle, I will call hazmat.

I used to love this wine ... 25 years ago. Should have drunk it 20 years ago. -LP
