Source: Sonoma County Economic Development Board (EDB)
In February 2016, the Economic Development Board (EDB) partnered with Santa Rosa-based Russian River Brewing Company to measure the economic impact of visitors traveling for the annual release of their world-famous craft beer known as Pliny the Younger.
Informed by surveying throughout the two-week event, economic impact analysis found that the total economic impact generated was $4.88 million!
This impact is the result of direct tourist spending within Sonoma County and the multiplier effects of that spending on other supply industries.
Of the 16,000+ attendees, surveying results indicated that people traveled from 40 states and 11 different countries to sample Pliny the Younger.

TODAY'S FEATURED BEVERAGE

Collette Farmhouse Ale from Great Divide Brewing Co. (Denver, CO).
Complex, fruity, and almost a little tart. Unique brew!
The husband really enjoyed this beer (he busted it open while I was putting our son to bed and drank most of it before I got a hold of it). -Becca
