TODAY'S FEATURED WINE
Two Acacias demonstrate how to devalue your brand.

These 2013 Acacia Chardonnays bought at Safeway show how to ruin your brand.
The Carneros AVA on the left was a very nice summer sipper-$11.99.
The California AVA on the right doesn't have enough character to rise to the level of plonk - $9.29.
So, if the pseudo-plonk was a consumer's first exposure to Acacia, it would hardly encourage a return purchase. Get a clue folks!
WINE REVIEW POLICY: For winery tasting samples, gifts from friends or family or samplings at a party or event, review it truthfully, but only if I like it. If I have paid my own very-hard-earned money on a bottle, the gloves are off and it gets what it deserves ... whether perfect or puerile.
