TODAY'S FEATURED WINE

Lewis Perdue's Rating of Robert Hall Winery: Rhone Blend/Red Wine: Paso Robles-California: Cuvee de Robles: : United States

A bit of crême brulée on the nose and soft, subtle fruit like a dark-chocolate-covered cherry at half volume.

37% Grenache, 24% Syrah, 17% Petite Sirah, 13% Cinsault and 9% Counoise.

This was on sale at BevMo for $13.99 ... probably because the 2013 ($20) has already been released. I have not tasted the 2013, but this 2012 is a good value at this price.

 REVIEW POLICY:

For winery tasting samples, gifts from friends or family or samplings at a party or event, review it truthfully, but only if I like it. If I have paid my own very-hard-earned money on a bottle, the gloves are off and it gets what it deserves ... whether perfect or puerile.
