TODAY'S FEATURED WINE - From the archive: July 7, 2013

Lewis Perdue's Rating of Baiocchi Wines & Vineyards: Rhone Blend/Red Wine: Fair Play - California: G Minor: 2011: United States

Deep and velvety. cinnamon, black cherry, cedar. A pomegranate in there somewhere. 44% Grenache,32% Syrah,& 24% Tempranillo ... all playing major chords on my palate that aren't minor at all.

 REVIEW POLICY:

For winery tasting samples, gifts from friends or family or samplings at a party or event, review it truthfully, but only if I like it. If I have paid my own very-hard-earned money on a bottle, the gloves are off and it gets what it deserves ... whether perfect or puerile.
