TODAY'S FEATURED WINE

Becca Yeamans-Irwin's Rating of Carpineto: White Blend: Chianti: : : Italy

2013 Dogajolo Toscano by Carpineto. Very light and acidic. I get mostly Granny Smith Apple, and the finish is lacking.

I'm not the biggest fan of this one. In fact, my husband thought it was kind of blah and he likes to drink Franzia.

I'm sure this wine is the right taste for someone, but not me (not today anyway).

 REVIEW POLICY:

For winery tasting samples, gifts from friends or family or samplings at a party or event, review it truthfully, but only if I like it. If I have paid my own very-hard-earned money on a bottle, the gloves are off and it gets what it deserves ... whether perfect or puerile.
