TODAY'S FEATURED WINE

Lewis Perdue's Rating of Vignalta: Gemola - Merlot/Cabernet: VenetoVeneto - Colli Euganei: : 2009: Italy

Deep, rich, smooth, plums, chocolate and blackberries. Big. Intense.

Average retail (wine-searcher) is $28/bottle.

This is a super wine but was waaay over-priced at $14 for a 5-ounce pour at Ca' Momi in Napa.

 REVIEW POLICY:

For winery tasting samples, gifts from friends or family or samplings at a party or event, review it truthfully, but only if I like it. If I have paid my own very-hard-earned money on a bottle, the gloves are off and it gets what it deserves ... whether perfect or puerile.
