NEWS FETCH PLAYLIST:

While creating this issue, I liked this song best: Boom, Like That  By Mark Knopfler.

TODAY'S FEATURED WINE

Cline Cellars: Red Blend: California: : 2011: United States

Blackberry, strawberry, raspberry melange hint of mint/liquorice and enough acid and tannin that almost keeps the fruit from being over-the-top jammy.

Did not hear from the winery, but reversewinesnob.com says it's 30% Syrah, 27% Merlot, 15% Barbera, 7% Zinfandel, 5% Alicante Bouschet, 4% Cabernet Franc and 12% Mixed Red varieties from California.

Seems to have a bit of residual sugar which means it Would go well with Indian food or the carne asada soft tacos and freshly made salsa from Juanita Juanita. Not quite to my palate, but this should find a solid audience. $11 retail.

 REVIEW POLICY:

For winery tasting samples, gifts from friends or family or samplings at a party or event, review it truthfully, but only if I like it. If I have paid my own very-hard-earned money on a bottle, the gloves are off and it gets what it deserves ... whether perfect or puerile.
