TODAY'S FEATURED WINE
This would have been a perfect wine for sitting in an Italian Piazza on a spring afternoon.
The afternoon and the piazza , however would have been 99% of the enjoyment since this bottle is drinkable but forgettable.
And it is standing in front of my computer monitor displaying a photo I took on a trip to Italy where all the wine seemed a lot more memorable than this $12.99 bottle from Whole Foods.
This Chianti was watery and had about as much fruit character of a glass of water sitting next to a bunch of grapes. Wow! Do I miss Italy!
