TODAY'S FEATURED WINE

As always, SavvyTaste.Com has my full description and opinion of this wine: Silkbush Mountain Vineyards: Viognier: Breedkloof - Western Cape: : 2012: South Africa

Apple blossoms in back yard today. Spring done sprung!

This is a nice crisp, unwooded white without the over floral/perfumey notes that plague a lot of Viognier. Instead, this has right, tight notes of peach and pears. Now that hot weather is here in Sonoma, this is a heerlijk quaffer.
