NEWS FETCH'S FAVORITE SONG TODAY:

While creating this issue, I liked this song best: When I Come Around  By Green Day ... from the classic "Dookie" album that turned 20 this month. (Now, don't THAT make you feel kinda old?)

TODAY'S FEATURED WINE

NOTE: You can get a night-before preview of the featured wines on Instagram or this Facebook Author page.

As always, SavvyTaste.Com has my full description and opinion of this wine: Jorge Ordonez: Monastrell: Alicante: : non vintage: Spain

Comments: I bought a bottle of this non-vintage wine almost exactly a year ago (1/23/13) at Vallerga's Market in Napa. Back then, I called it "Dusty, fruity well-balanced and intense."(http://savvytaste.com/wine.php?ID=1229) ... Well, this year, the blend is all sideways ... a bland loser with none of the intensity. I'll probably pass on this one if it hits the shelves next year.
