TODAY'S FEATURED WINE

NOTE: You can get a night-before preview of the featured wines on Instagram or this Facebook Author page.

As always, SavvyTaste.Com has my full description and opinion of this wine: Zinfandel: : : 1992:

Before it murdered its mojo ... pre-IPO and pre-acquisition by Constellation, Ravenswood Zin was killer wine. This 1992 still shows its talented backbone, good fruit and structure. That just shows just how good it was. Current vintages would never make it to 21. They hardly age well nowadays from one year to the next. This good memory was rekindled at the Hinman and Carmichael Big Bottle party last Thursday at the University Club, SF.
