TODAY'S FEATURED WINE
NOTE: You can get a night-before preview of the featured wines on Instagram or this Facebook Author page.
As always, SavvyTaste.Com has my full description and opinion of this wine: Lewis Perdue's Rating of Langtry Estate and Vineyards: Petite Sirah: California: : 2011: United States
Extremely average ... Like that kid who sat across from you in eighth grade math and doodled all the time. Also, note the disclaimer at the bottom that is contains less than 15% Guenoc Valley grapes. I did not see that until after I got it home. I would not have bought the bottle had I been astute enough to study the text. OTOH, how many grocery store shoppers do. Guenoc was once a very nice brand, but seems to have lurched into the toilet. This is $4.99 plonk faking it as a $10.99 wine.
